"Ned Nwoko believes Peter Obi's petition against Tinubu is unlikely to succeed."

Ned Nwoko, the senator-elect for Delta North, has dismissed the petition of the Labour Party's Presidential candidate against Tinubu's election as president-elect, calling it an exercise in futility. According to Punch, Nwoko stated that the petition may not be heard once the President-elect is sworn in, as he will have control over the Armed Forces and the appointment of the Chief Justice. Nwoko criticized the opposition parties for their failure to unite against the ruling APC, claiming that if they had formed a natural alliance, they could have defeated the APC. He called for the PDP and Labour Party to work together strategically in the next election to save Nigeria from the current government's poor performance.
