"Laila St. Daniel-Mathew responds to Achraf Hakimi's divorce drama, highlighting her disgust towards his mother's controlling behavior."

Laila St. Daniel-Mathew, a Nigerian life coach and women's rights activist, has shared her opinion on the divorce drama involving Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi and his ex-wife, Hiba Abouk. According to reports, Hiba had sought to claim half of Hakimi's wealth in court, but was outsmarted by the player who reportedly deposited 80% of his salary into his mother's account.

In a Facebook post, St. Daniel-Mathew expressed her disgust towards the fact that Hakimi is allegedly being controlled by his mother. She also criticized the negative comments towards Hiba, stating that as his wife, she has the right to ask for anything and it is up to the court to decide.

However, St. Daniel-Mathew emphasized that she finds it more disturbing that Hakimi's mother has so much control over him as a grown man, suggesting that this could have been a factor in the divorce. She added that although his mother may have contributed to his success, it is still wrong for her to have so much influence over his personal life.

St. Daniel-Mathew also stated that Hiba has the right to seek a good alimony for herself and their two sons if she has a good lawyer.
