PHOTOS: Meet The Family Who Share Their Home With Seven Pet TIGERS

                                                              A family have raised SEVEN tigers in their home as pets. The Borges family from Maringa, Brazil, have been living with the tigers for eight years. They eat with them, swim with them and even let their children ride on the beasts’ backs. Ary Borges rescued two of the big cats from the circus eight years ago and they, along with their cubs, have since become members of the family. Now Ary has plans to open an eco-park where his beloved animals can roam free.

Former Nigerian & Portsmouth FC striker John Utaka is set to make his acting debut in Nollywood movie, Battered. ‘Battered’ is scheduled to premier at the Odeon Cinema in Greenwich, southeast London, on September 28, 2013. John will be acting alongside superstar actors and actresses like Yvonne Hays; Theodora Ibekwe; Collin Archer Pearce; Atto Erick; Marie Gomez; Nana Churcher; Lanre Balogun; DJ Ozzy and Tim Uche. ‘Battered’ is produced by Fatima Jabbe and co-directed by Lanre Balogun.

Tuface Idibia Presents N3Million to Peace Award Winners

 Three winners emerged from the 2Face Peace Awards which held on Saturday, Sept. 21 2013 (World Peace Day) at the Nicon Luxury Hotel Abuja. They received N1 million each to use in furthering the various peace causes they have been involved in. The Awards kicked off the Million Voices for Peace campaign being run by the 2Face Idibia Reachout Foundation. The winners were selected from a pool of young people aged between 18 to 35 whose initiatives helped in promoting peace in their areas for at least 18 months. The winners were: Kyenpiya Jessica Makan-Nyabam of the CLAPAI (Child Love And Protection Advocacy Initiative) Orphanage, Jos. CLAPAI was set up in 2006 by Kyenpiya and her husband, Emmanuel, an ex-professional footballer, to cater for children orphaned, affected or infected by HIV/AIDS. Police Exhume Car Buried With Charred Bodies Inside In Nasarawa

THE DRIVER OF THE CAR AND TWO OCCUPANTS —MANAGING DIRECTOR OF POLICE MICROFINANCE BANK ALHAJI HASSAN GIDADO AND THE MANAGER OF THE BANK’S BRANCH IN ABUJA, MR. TUNDE BANWO — WERE KILLED BY PEOPLE SUSPECTED TO BE MEMBERS OF THE OMBATSE GROUP AND BURIED WITH THEIR CAR. (THE NATION) Three bodies belonging to two bankers and their driver have been dug up from a riverside in Nasarawa State, centre of violent clashes between Alago and Eggon youths in recent times. The deceased were allegedly ambushed by suspected Ombatse cultists, who took them to the bush, killed and then set their bodies ablaze with their car before burying them inside the car by the riverside. This is a photo of the Lagos State Government's ten-lane Lagos-Badagry Expressway and railway line. Erm...yeah, people are already  trading on the rail tracks. Lol. The Lagos –Badagry expressway is a Federal Government road which is currently being expanded to 10 lanes to accommodate a BRT lane and light rail through collaborative efforts of the state govt, the  federal govt and international financial agencies. Julius Berger is handling the 10 lane road segment while China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), is handlin g the Light Rail section of the road.
