Jamil Abubakar, the first son of MD Abubakar, the current IG of Police, was co-piloting an IRS plane when it crash-landed at Niger Republic yesterday evening while on its way back from a maintenance check. He shared a photo of the plane after it crashed. See that after the cut..

.   A farmer, Friday Omosigho, has committed suicide after attacking his wife with a machete on the farm and leaving her in a pool of blood in Benin City, Edo State . Evangelist shoots father to death in Enugu(Photo)

A 30-year-old man who claimed to be an evangelist, Chukwukezi Afonogu, is now cooling his heels in the custody of the Enugu State Police Command for killing his 65-year-old father, Judge Afonogu (not a member of the judiciary) with a gun. Afonogu allegedly committed the heinous act because the father purport­edly called him a ‘mad boy’ during an altercation, an insult that enraged him so much and prompted the fatal shooting of the old man.
